Paul Elliot

Paul Elliot was born in Victoria, British Columbia, where he spent his formative years until the age of 14. Following this, he moved to Petawawa, Ontario, where he lived until he was 18. Afterward, Paul resided in Barrie, Ontario, for three decades, before relocating to Toronto, Ontario, where he spent another ten years. In March of this year, he made a significant life change by moving to New Germany, Nova Scotia, where he now enjoys the tranquility of rural living.

Paul is a devoted family man, having been married to his lovely wife, Wendy, for 35 years. Together, they have raised two children: Elizabeth, who is 32, and George, who is 29. Their family life is enriched by the natural beauty surrounding them on their 15-acre property along the North Branch of the Lahave River. While they do not currently have pets, Wendy has expressed an interest in keeping chickens, adding a touch of rural charm to their home.

In his leisure time, Paul enjoys outdoor activities such as canoeing—preferably on flat water and during fair weather—and hiking, which allows him to connect with nature and stay active. He is also passionate about his Scottish heritage and culture, serving as the Vice Chair of the Clans and Scottish Societies of Canada (CASSOC), where he actively promotes and celebrates his ancestry.

While English is his only spoken language, Paul’s commitment to his community and family, along with his varied experiences, make him a well-rounded individual ready to embrace the next chapter of his life in Nova Scotia.
