Kyle DeYoung
Kyle is a highly motivated, multidisciplinary professional with work experience across law, finance, health administration and policy, spanning the private sector, NGOs, and multiple levels of government. He invests his excellent research skills into analyzing the real estate market in Halifax and enjoys digging into the trends and opportunities for both buyers and sellers. His passion for real estate comes from his love of the stories that homes tell about the families who have lived in them and about the history of our city. Having grown up in Eastern Passage and Halifax, he has extensive knowledge of the city’s history, neighbourhoods and economy. Kyle has experience in heritage property preservation, sustainable building practices and zoning/planning. He has excellent negotiating skills and provides his clients with advice from a place of common-sense market knowledge and meaningful communication. Travel is one of Kyle’s passions and he has had the opportunity to combine that pursuit with work opportunities in Iqaluit, Manila and Johannesburg. He lives in Halifax where Kyle is the co-founder and current board member with the Rainbow Refugee Association of Nova Scotia. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys classic cars, reading on the treadmill and summer patios.
